Michael was born and raised in Des Moines. He went to the University of Iowa where he double-majored, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelors of Science in Health and Sports Studies. He went on to complete a Master’s in Higher Education at Iowa State University where he worked as an athletic trainer for the football team. After graduating, he founded The ATR in the summer of 2014. Since then, he has become involved with the Iowa Athletic Trainer’s Society and is completing his Doctorate in Athletic Training from Temple University.

Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Krueger worked as a board certified athletic trainer in the Dubuque, Davenport, and Peoria areas. During this time, he also acquired a board certified license in massage therapy. While a chiropractic student and then a graduate, he helped incorporate athletic training and massage therapy into chiropractors’ offices and patients’ treatment plans. Dr. Krueger graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 2004. He has owned Krueger Chiropractic since 2006.

David graduated in 2014 from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Human Environmental Sciences, emphasis in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. He spent five years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman stationed out in Jacksonville, NC. He deployed twice with 3^rd Battalion, 8^th Marines before completing his first contract .  He decided to move back to the midwest and completed his Master’s in Athletic Training at Iowa State University where he worked primarily with women’s gymnastics, women’s swimming & diving, and men’s wrestling. David now lives in Ankeny with his wife, Abbie and their two dogs, Millie and Finn.
